From producer to consumer
The link between the territory, its protection and agriculture, is one of the key pages of the history of the Marche region. If we tie the longevity of life not only to a healthy lifestyle in food as well as in social relations, but also to a still deeply friendly and healthy territory, this is certainly due to the presence of an active agriculture and increasingly extended to the safeguard of the rural heritage rather than its mere exploitation.Hence the strong link between the environment and food production that, through the “QM – Marche Guaranteed Quality” trademark belonging to the Marche region, guarantees the quality of the product with very strict production regulations and independent controls, traceability, guarantees of each phase and of all the subjects involved in the production process, and in terms of full disclosure, which is highly detailed and combines the information on the label with that which is available on the internet. The trademark can be applied to various foodstuffs: high quality milk, cereals, bovine meat, orchard fruit, pork, legumes, extra- virgin olive oil, egg pasta, grain, bread, bread substitutes etc.
In 1987 the Association of beef producers Bovinmarche was born. It is aimed to identify quality production of the Marche region and to enable consumers to clearly identify the meat produced in our area.
Bovinmarche uses two different processes: the "traceability", through which you can follow the product from upstream to downstream of the sector recording information that is "traces" at each stage of its manufacture; and the reverse process which incorporates and links the information previously stored in such a way that you can trace the history of global product.
